Please comment on this weeks post . How could this be integrated into the curriculum?

  1. These videos would be great to incorporate when teaching history to young children. They included a virtual tour of Washington D.C. and the White House, facts about past presidents, national treasures, U.S. government, as well as patriotic songs and symbols of the United States. - J. Pietnik

  2. Another set of videos that I'd love to share with the middle school history teachers that I work with...I bet they would love to add these into their curriculum. -Kerri Bean

  3. My school district is just outside of Washington DC, and I'm sure that there are some field trips there over the course of the school years. The videos would be a good way to expose them in advance to things they may see on their trips, as well as teach them about patriotism.

  4. These videos would work great in an elementary classroom that was introducing American History. The virtual tour of D.C. could be used in a social studies classrooms of 3rd, 4th or 5th graders (maybe middle school too) and the sing along Patriotic songs would be a great addition in a K, 1st or 2nd grade music class. - Jen Renz

  5. This would be a perfect virtual trip for my class. I designed a virtual field trip all about the White House. We will be spending the next few weeks learning all about it.
